Join Anna, owner of Noel & Gladys as she takes you through one of her past times - making candles. Using soy wax Anna will teach you the basics of making candles and show you how to blend your own essential oils to scent your candle.
Working with ceramicist Peta Armstrong, you will pour your candle into Peta's handmade stoneware Moon Cup so after your candle is burnt through you'll be able to use something practical.
You'll also be blending a second scent to make 6 tea light candles you can use to scatter around your house.
Anna believes that candles add to the dimension of a space enhancing the sensory experience through smell, combine this with a unique vessel makes for a beautiful yet functional object.
- Demonstration and materials to make a large soy wax candle and 6 tea light candles.
- Mixing essential oils to blend two signature scents of your own, choosing from Anna's essential oil collection.

Anna Heyligers is the Founder and Owner of Noel & Gladys and loves a good old fashioned crafter-noon. Anna believes that candles add to the dimension of a space enhancing the sensory experience through smell. Anna has been making her own candles for the past few years experimenting with different fragrance oils and essential oils to make her own unique scents. She loves to use different vessels for an interesting aesthetic in the home combining the two to create a beautiful yet functional object.
