I’d love to know what it’s like working in the beauty industry?
I suppose I don’t really see myself working in the beauty industry, per say. Everyday Oil feels very outside of that to me! I would say that there is something inherently anti-consumerist about Everyday Oil, we try to provide something that is so good for your skin, that is the highest quality ingredients possible as affordably as possible. We don’t try to price it higher so the perceived value is higher, we price it as low as it can be.
Being in the beauty industry are there any social or political issues that you advocate change?
I would say that there is something inherently anti-consumerist about Everyday Oil, we try to provide something that is so good for your skin, that is the highest quality ingredients possible as affordably as possible. We don’t try to price it higher so the perceived value is higher, we price it as low as it can be. That is in line with my larger philosophy in life, to treat others as you would want to be treated, and Everyday Oil's core mission comes from my own core values - simplicity, quality and value.
